Soccer, Salads, and Spaghetti

Happy Wednesday friends!

Anyone else mourning the loss of our US Men’s Soccer Team? Man oh man – what a game! I think it’s safe to say that I have an official crush on Tim Howard. And while I would have loved for our guys to make it further in the World Cup, I’m still pretty proud by how hard they fought. 120 minutes of play isn’t easy!

PLUS it’s been awesome to see so many folks getting excited about soccer!

Alright, alright. Enough about soccer. Let’s talk about food!

Well, a little bit.

Yesterday started out good enough. I woke up feeling hungry and decided to take advantage of my lack of nausea:

Two slices of Udi’s Gluten Free Multigrain Bread topped with shredded Cabot Cheese, Scrambled Eggs, a bit of avocado, and two DELICIOUS strips of bacon.

Baby Ravelli LOVES bacon. Winking smile

Giving up runny eggs while pregnant has not been easy, but scrambled eggs are pretty good too….I guess.

This breakfast really hit the spot! Unfortunately, my nausea returned around 11am and lasted for the rest of the day. I was able to eat a salad for lunch, but by the time supper rolled around I was fighting the urge to puke pretty hard.

So supper was boring:

SUPER boring….but actually really good. A bit of Schar Gluten Free Spaghetti with a pad of butter, a sprinkle of Italian Herbs, Cabot Cheese, and a few bites of a Hilary’s Eat Well World’s Best Veggie Burger.

I ate the above serving times 2 and was able to settle my stomach enough to drink a few glasses of water. Fighting dehydration has been hard these past few weeks, but I feel like I’m getting close to the other side.

Finger crossed!
