Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cups

Yesterday was full of pleasant surprises, which let’s be honest, are WAY BETTER than unpleasant ones.

First, I had a last minute early lunch date with MOH Alex! We decided on an old favorite: PF Changs!

I hadn’t eaten at PF Changs in a looooong time. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE their food, but I always leave with a bit of sticker shock. Plus it’s dangerously close to my house, so it’s best if it’s just a treat every few months.

I ordered a new-to-me dish from the gluten free menu:

Buddha’s Feast! I was disappointed that the gluten free version lacked tofu…and they were pretty skimpy on the mushrooms, but the flavor was great! The veggies were cooked perfectly, and the tamari mixed with spicy peppers sauce really hit the spot.

Also, I stayed on track and ordered a big glass of water with my meal…

instead of an unsweetened tea.

Honestly, I really backed off of caffeine yesterday. I think writing that post and admitting that I had a problem (The first step is admitting you have a problem) really boosted my will power. And I slept WAY BETTER last night. No twitchy legs or overactive mind.

Hopefully I can keep it up as we roll into the holidays. **Fingers Crossed**

Justin’s Organic Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups – AHHHMAZING

I’ve had the Dark Chocolate version in the past and LOVED them, and the Milk Chocolate Cups were just as good!

Delicious – DOUBLE CHECK

It was nice to have a treat on Halloween that didn’t make me feel guilty – I will definitely be eating these cups again!
