Tomorrow marks my FIFTH year writing this blog, as well as 5 years that I have been gluten free.
To me, it’s hard to believe that it’s only been 5 years. I feel like I’ve been gluten free for way longer. Then again, a lot has happened in those 5 years. I moved, got engaged, got married, bought a house, graduated from college, and so much more.
A lot can happen in 5 years!
And you know what, a lot of GOOD gluten free FOOD has happened in those 5 years too. Like…
First made in 2009, these onion rings are a real treat! There truly is nothing like a beer batter. Crunchy and moist with a sweet, tangy flavor. I love these rings! Recipe here.

Gluten Free Beer Cheese Hush Puppies are pretty amazing too!
Spicy Pepper Jack Cheese really sets these hush puppies apart. First made in October of 2012, I can remember being totally shocked when these turned out well! As a Southern girl, a hush puppy has always been a staple. And as it turns out, pretty darn easy to make gluten free.

Definitely one of my favorite recipes from the past 5 years. I mean, what’s not to love?! It’s basically a tiny taco in a cute little cup. I love bite size food!
