Now that I’ve told you about that amazing two-handed gluten free sandwich, I guess I should mention the amazing gelato and gluten free biscotti!
Wait. That was dessert. I should cover the meal first!
My colleague and I were having an amazing time in NYC.
Katie had AMAZING friends who showed us around NYC at night. Seriously they should start a NYC tours business because that was the most fun I’ve ever had in NYC!
It was our second night in the big city and we decided to try Italian. I was hoping to try Rissoteria, but we were EXHAUSTED after a long day at the NYIGF. So I used the best tool in a gluten free gal’s toolbox: a smartphone. One quick google for gluten free food in midtown and I found Nizza!
Nizza has an incredible gluten free menu! In fact, when the hostess was seating us she asked if anyone needed a gluten free menu. SHE ASKED! Amazing.
As soon as we were seated, we were brought a plate of warm gluten free bread.
And yes, all of these pictures are going to be terrible. Nizza has SUPER COZY romantic lighting.
Which is awesome! But not great for blogging.
Anyways…. After the bread: asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and gluten free fettuccine with olives.

That my friends is NUTELLA gelato topped with buttery GLUTEN FREE biscotti!
So good. Nutella gelato is the best idea. And that biscotti was out of control! My only regret is that I didn’t save more room!
If you’re in NYC I highly recommend Nizza! Order the gelato!!
