Happy November 1st!!
Are you all sugared out from Halloween? I am and I only had three pieces! One of my classmates brought candy to our 3-hour senior seminar class and I couldn’t resist. I mean, she had the name brand candy – how could I say no?!
So this morning, in addition to my sugar hangover (yep, it doesn’t take much for me) I am also suffering from EXTREME school stress.
Things are gettin' REAL in my classes!
I honestly can’t believe the amount of original text I am churning out each week, in addition to the 100s pages I’m reading. And do NOT try to console me with “But you’re almost finished!” because then I have to face the fact that I have a 20 page paper due in one month and I haven’t started.
SO today, on November 1st, I would like to flashback to a simpler time. A time when all I had to worry about was planning a wedding…and buying a house. I know that seems silly to think of it as simpler, but looking back it was.
That’s right readers, I’m taking you all the way back to November 1st, 2009 where I was able to enjoy a romantic night with a little of this:
a little of this:
and quite a few pieces of this:
Oh yes. A homemade white pizza, with olive oil, garlic, grilled chicken, feta, and green olives.
Are you having a good November 1st?
I have Thanksgiving recipes to try out over the weekend! I can’t wait to share them with you all next week
Anyone have a killer recipe I should try?
