Friends. I don’t think I have ever been THIS ready for the weekend! TGIF and I can barely contain myself!!
Due to circumstances out of everyone’s control, my boss (and one of the only three staff) has been out of town since last week, leaving me the lone ranger at work. Thank goodness our part time staffer rescued me a few mornings, so that I could do work errands like go to the bank, and actually complete one invoice without getting interrupted.
But since I haven’t had a day off since October 2nd…then yeah, I would say I’m pretty excited about this weekend!
I knew the second week of the stretch was going to be a hard one, so I planned accordingly and made sure that I had everything I needed. In particular, I made sure that breakfast was FAST and FILLING:
1/2 Udi’s Whole Grain Bagel
Some mornings I would slather on peanut butter and sliced banana, but other mornings I enjoyed it as above ^^ Greek Yogurt and Organic Concord Grape Spread. YUM. And while I don’t think that most of my breakfasts are necessarily hard, it’s been nice to have something that is pretty much ready in three minutes.
But yes. Back to my weekend! Lil’ Gluten Loves Me is celebrating her third birthday this weekend, so Parrish and I will get to celebrate her on Saturday and I’ll get to see my bestie! And then Sunday will hopefully consist of a matinee movie (?), grocery shopping for the week, and school work BUT I won’t have to shower if I don’t want to!
