Get ready for the BIGGEST gluten free pizza you have ever seen!
But first, let’s start with day two breakfast!
I don’t know about you guys, but I find breakfast to be the HARDEST meal to eat out. Pancakes, waffles, biscuits…it seems like there’s gluten everywhere! Muffins, bagels, donuts…cereal, there’s not much.
So imagine my excitement when we pass by a Whole Foods on our way to Burbank!
Hello poached egg deliciousness. Sopped up with grilled potatoes and a piece of bacon. I also had a yogurt on the side. Great breakfast!
And we were off!
I had heard rumors about terrible traffic in LA, and yesterday I was able to experience that first hand. Essentially, it took a little over 4 hours to travel what should have taken two.
Once we arrived at the hotel, I was SO excited to get out of the van and in to the
Emmy Suite
Our room has a HUGE window that overlooks downtown Burbank, but it was really hard to capture a picture.
But the view is really pretty.
No biggie.
So we pretty much just hung out in the afternoon and waited on twinsies to get off of work and ride over from Van Nuys. Twinsies also has Celiac Disease (imagine that) and he said he knew the perfect place to order in a pizza.
Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria
It was by far, the biggest gluten free pizza I have ever seen!
TWELVE WHOLE SLICES!! This makes Glutino look like play food.
Twinsies and I didn’t even get a plate; we just shared the box.
Thin crust. Greasy. Cheesy.
Healthy? Nope. Delicious? Yep.
So the new roster, in order of best to worst:
NUMBER ONE: Fuel Pizza Café
NUMBER TWO: Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria
NUMBER THREE: Lilly’s Pizza
NUMBER FOUR: Brixx
NUMBER FIVE: Mellow Mushroom
