Savory Savory Savory

If you follow me on twitter, then you know that I woke up two hours early this morning, so that I would have time to run before work…AND watch this week’s episode of Gossip Girl. :)

With all the extra time, I decided to mix it up for breakfast and go the savory route.

Gluten Free Cheesy Corn Grits with Moore’s Honey BBQ Sauce

I used the Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free Corn Grits and cooked them according to directions on the box except that I used skim milk instead of water. Once cooked, I added in 1/4 cup skim milk mozzarella.

So creamy. So good.

I’m pretty much in love with Moore’s. I’ve been loving their Wing Sauce for months. So when I saw this new sauce at Harris Teeter I practically squealed. Ok. I may have actually squealed. But it’s a good product and gluten free. Love it!

And since it was such a gorgeous fall day and I was living on the edge switching things up, I swapped out coffee for tea!

In case you were wondering, this mug is my wedding mug! I bought this mug on the morning of my wedding because each of my bridesmaids wore a different color dress, similar to the leaves. :) I love mugs that represent something special, that way when I drink my morning caffeine I’m instantly happy! (And not just because of the caffeine)


Thanks for the input on new running shoes! Some yearly tax was due to our water company, so it looks like shoes will have to wait another week and a half. Oy! The joys of being a homeowner! :)
