Confession #2
I am completely and utterly out of control…I am head over heels in love.
With Tasty Bite Madras Lentils.
As you guys may remember, the super sweet folks at Tasty Bite sent over some of their foods for me to try and review. In all honesty, I had seen there offerings in the store before, but I always thought “Ehh…”. I’m just not big on pre-packaged grocery foods.
Aww man. As I just posted that picture my mouth started watering. These lentils were ahh-mazing. Imagine the most delicious beef chili you have ever eaten in your life. Now, imagine it with creamy, hearty lentils and red beans instead of beef. Heaven.
I mean, read these ingredients!
water, tomatoes, lentils, red beans, onions, salt, butter, sunflower oil, chilies, and cumin
Simple. Delicious.
I savored each bite with the last of my Food Should Taste Good Lime chips!
Sadness.
I’m excited to try the other offerings from Tasty Bite…but I’m sort of wishing that they had just sent me a giant box of Madras Lentils. ;)
