Happy Almost 4th of July! It’s been fun reading blogs today and seeing how different folks celebrate the holiday. I had to work today, so Parrish and I stayed local. Good thing, because if we had travelled I wouldn’t have came home to this:
cooking away on the stove.
Can you tell what it is?
It’s Ravellish! (pronounced like relish)
Parrish came up with this recipe New Years Eve 2007. It’s the perfect sauté of savory mushrooms, onions, and garlic with salty olives and sweet red pepper. He cooks it on med-low heat slowly with a bit of olive oil until it’s all wilted and gooshy.
Yes. Gooshy. But I only took pictures of pre-goosh because by the time the Ravellish was ready, my steak was ready and it was time to eat! Filet Mignon waits for no one!
