It’s a brand new day

Last night I enjoyed my second find of the day:

aka: Christmas in a container! I had seen this beauty make it’s way around the blog world and I knew I wanted to try it! So glad I did. And with 1/2 the fat, how could I resist?!

Topped with Dark Chocolate Chips. Tasty!

And then today, I enjoyed my third find of the day…from yesterday…

A purdy new necklace I found at the Chapel Hill PTA Thrift Shop. Lovin’ it.

I first took this picture to show you guys the necklace. WOAH. Bloggity Friends, I have GOT to get my hurr cut. Also, I have blue eyes but when I wear this shirt they’re green. How does that happen?

Any chance I get, I hit up the thrift stores and the habitat home stores looking for milk glass vases and containers. We’re using them at the wedding for table centerpieces. I also have family members on the look out, and all together, I think we have around 40 different pieces. Not quite enough, but definitely getting there!

I am loving these holiday Target commercials! Have guys seen this one?

It reminds me of how when I was little, my siblings and I would call our own phone number and then hang up to get the phone to ring. Then when it would ring, my mom would answer it and we would die laughing. :) Small town life!

Ok friends, off to bed. I’m working 12 hours tomorrow…

8 Holiday Shopping Days Left!!

We could do that thing where you call your own phone number too. You're definitely right -- small town life! I love your new necklace. And my eyes do the same thing (blue, but look green when I wear green). Have a great day!

Hilarious commercial - reminds me of when remote controls were the new gadget. The family was still adjusting. I'd would hide it under the pillow and change the channel while my sis/mom/dad would be changing it at the never got old.
