I can still remember the first time I had granola. It was around 5 years ago (pre-gluten free life), and I was new at the food co-op. One of my co-workers tossed some into my morning yogurt. I was in heaven!! A few weeks later the honeymoon was over when I glanced at the nutritional info. So I wouldn’t say that I’ve been missing granola, but when I saw this at Trader Joe’s I couldn’t resist!
Verdict: TASTY!!! Crunchy with a hint of sweetness. I love the visible seeds and nuts! The nutrition facts…they’re not great. But it’s all about serving size. They list a serving size as 3/4 cup, so it’s important for me to measure that out. So I could have a smaller serving (1/4 cup) with my yogurt snack. That size serving would have 85 calories and 4 grams of fat. Yum!
