I did it!!

I bought my domain!

All your bookmarks will still work, and if you enter the .blogspot, it will still re-direct you. I'm so excited! Makes me feel more official!

Big Thanks to my friend Ben! He saved me from my frustration!! I also emailed Jill in a wave of frustration, but thankfully I figured it out...I mean we (Ben and I ) figured it out. Well...Ben figured it out. :)

Now if I can just figure out how to make multiple pages....

Hi, I stumbled upon your blog through other foodies (maybe katheats?) and while looking for gluten free sources. After a final 'test' to see if I could tolerate wheat this week and having a bad reaction, I am working to rid my kitchen of gluten/wheat products and commit to a gluten free diet. When you first stopped eating gluten, did you find it hard to stop eating certain foods, even though you knew your body would hate you later? I feel like I crave the foods that are most damaging to me.

First off, I LOVE KathEats. She's a Carolina gal like me! :)
If you want to email me for more info on the path to gluten free I would love to talk more with you! I could go on and on. marlowapril@glutenhatesme.com

I have been gluten free for 7 months. I have not "cheated" at all. I have mistakenly eaten gluten twice because it wasn't labeled properly. When I eat gluten I get a killer migraine and feel so tired...so lazy...that it's almost like I've been drugged. So for me, it will never be worth it. I crave glutenous pizza EVERYDAY. But I don't crave it in a way that I want to eat some, I just mourn it a little bit each time I smell it. Which can be often.

Plus I have Celiac disease, and my doctor was very stern with me that if I continued to eat gluten then I would kill myself. My micro-philli in my intestine were SO BEYOND DEAD that my body was basically getting no nutrients. Not to mention the insane diarrhea (sorry!!) 8-10 times a day. I literally had to plan my life around the bathroom!

The first few months were incredibly hard, but the better I felt the easier it got. PLUS I found Beth's Gluten Free All Purpose Flour and made some fried chicken. Then I made some fried green tomatoes.

It has totally changed my life. But my life needed to be changed. I cook more at home; eat out WAY less.

See, I told you I could go on and on!

AND blogging helped! And finding other bloggers out there like me. I have NO local gluten free friends, so I have been blessed to find all my online friends.
A support group is BEYOND necessary!

Yeah...you took the plunge too! I am so excited for you! Are you wanting to make multiple pages are your website?

Meg- Yeah, I want to be able to have categories at the top. Pretty much similar to KathEats or Hey, that tastes good! So I could create a page with My Story, a page of recipes, and a page about my dog Max :)

Yes! Nice. The reason I don't like blogger is that you can't make multiple pages, I had to make mine with google (click on them, on the top, they're weird) and the link isn't a convenient thing its something weird, which is why I'm working on switching to something else....Congrats tho! Happy to help!

Too cool! I've been wanting to do that for awhile now and you've inspired me to attempt it!

Liz- I could totally see thegoodeatah.com :)
Now I am reading up about switching to Wordpress.

And I put in the LinkWithin widget you use. I love it!
